The actress won an Academy Award as Best Supporting actor for the 1988 film The Accidental tourist for playing Muriel Pritchett, a character in Beetlejuice. She was also nominated for a Golden Globe Award in recognition for her role as a character in A League of Their Own. She played a female character as a character in Beetlejuice (1988), an American comedy/horror film written and directed by Tim Burton. Virginia Elizabeth Geena Davis is known as an American activist and actress. Davis was awarded many awards and honors for her the roles she played in movies and TV, in addition to her work as an advocate for women within the film industry. Her first passion was music. She took piano and flute lessons and played organ well enough as a teenager to be an organist in her Congregationalist church located in Wareham. Davis went to Wareham High School and was an exchange student from Sandviken Sweden getting fluent in Swedish. While at New England College, Davis received a bachelor's degree in Drama at Boston University. When she was a little girl, she was aspiring to become a professional soccer player. In 2002, as she entered her senior year of her high school, she was struck by the injury to her ankle. She recovered and continued playing as a striker at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill California in which she received her associate degree in fine arts. She received Junior College All-American honors and was subsequently transferred to Arizona State University where self-doubt sadly led her to stop playing soccer. The following year she went to California State University Fullerton. In Fullerton, she earned an undergraduate degree in arts and a concentration in business and human resource management. The course was completed in Los Angeles where she began a professional career in modeling, promotional work and acting. In the process of searching for a new job, she found the casting call for W.W.E. After proving herself to talent scouts she was granted a 4-week trial period. She then moved from the city of her birth to Orlando Florida, where the Performance Center was located. Then, in May of 2013, she joined the Total Divas W.W.E Reality T.V. show. Eva Marie was born.
