Anita Barone

Barone appeared as Gail Cunningham, a chef in the Seinfeld show The Shoes from the fourth season. She coveted Elaine Benes' shoes. She appeared in the early 1990s when she was a regular cast member for Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone additionally played the role of Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex-wife in her first appearance on Friends. Her departure from the show was because she wanted to pursue a more full-time role she was substituted by Jane Sibbett. She was an actress in The Jeff Foxworthy Show during the initial season (1995-1996) and The War at Home in 2005 through 2007. Then, in 2000 Barone was also a co-star on The sitcom Daddio. Barone is also credited for television appearances, including Desperate Houswives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. Barone has been awarded the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2004 for her performance in the feature film One Last Ride. The following year, three years after The War at Home ended it's running time, Barone started her role as a recurring character on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as the character of Officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones his former husband of Barone's character in two episodes.
